Tee Shirts are Here!!!

Join your fellow congregants who are already wearing their new RTPV T-shirts.  They are only $18 and if you purchase 4 or more they are $15 each.

We have both adult and children’s sizes.

All proceeds from the t-shirts benefit our social action programs and projects.

Email Roni (Ronrod3@aol.com) or Lorraine (LHD1@aol.com) if you wish to make a purchase.

Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry

The pantry is currently serving between 90-110 families a week.  These families come from our surrounding communities and are provided with non perishable items and fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy products in order to meet their nutritional needs.

Donations are welcome and so are volunteers.

Please contact Roni (Ronrod3@aol.com) or Lorraine (LHD1@aol.com) for further info.

Peekskill Feeding Program

Volunteers are needed to deliver our monthly supply of meals to the Peekskill Lunchtime Feeding Program located at the Salvation Army in Peekskill.  We provide hotdogs, rolls, canned vegetables and fruit to the Feeding Program on the first Monday of every month.

Please see Roni or Lorraine

How Many Jews Does It Take to Change a Light Bulb?”

feremote website (COEJL), the leading Jewish environmental organization in America, is asking the Jewish community to help conserve energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by installing energy-efficient, cost-effective, long-lasting compact fluorescent lights. CFLs use 75% less energy and produce 90% less heat than incandescent bulbs. If every household replaced one bulb with a CFL, it would have the same impact as removing 1.3 million cars from the road! Take action now. (www.socialaction.com)
