Sisterhood wishes you an inspirational year, filled with opportunities.

Sisterhood is the organization of the women of RTPV who come together for fellowship and friendship, for programs to benefit the community, for social activities, and for the personal growth of each individual woman.

Sisterhood is the collective presence, voice and strength of women within the Temple.   It is the place where women can meet and work together for the Temple and develop projects in which they are interested and wish to be involved.

Sisterhood welcomes and needs women from Temple for their leadership, energy and a desire to work and get involved; there is room for everyone.

Sisterhood, doing the thing they do so well, turned rooms of unwanted good into $2000 for classroom repairs. This is only a small measure of how we work for the congregation. However, we work better when we are all together. We need all the women of the Congregation to know they are part of this miraculous group, whether you are attend meetings, support our efforts financially, or are just waiting for a time in your life when you have a free moment to give a hand.

Dinah Berland wrote for High Holidays

At the Sounding of the Shofar
How my heart stirs at the shofar's glorious blast.
Its vibration causes the very sinews of my being to echo.
Its earnest tones call out to me:
Mortal child, take courage! Take Courage!
Save the people who know the sound of the shofar
And bask in your light, O God,
In the brilliance of your countenance, Amen.
