We invite you and your family and friends to join your Temple family for our annual High Holidays Services.  We look forward to your active participation during the worship service.  Please note the Holiday schedule below:

SCHEDULE OF SERVICES

ROSH HASHANAH       Evening Service:  Monday,   SEPTEMBER 29, 2008              8:00 PM

                                              Morning Service: Tuesday,  SEPTEMBER 30, 2008             10:00 AM

 

    NOTE: It has been a RTPV tradition to visit local nursing homes following Rosh

                                                            Hashanah morning services, in order to bring services to those unable to attend.

                                                            All those who would like to participate in this mitzvah should meet outside in the

                                                            parking lot following the services.

 

YOM KIPPUR     Kol Nidre:                  Wednesday,  October  8, 2008       8:00 PM

                                        Morning Service:  Thursday,  October 9, 2008        9:30 AM

                                        Children’s Service:                                                         2:00 PM

                                        Afternoon Service:                                                         3:30 PM

                                        Yiskor Services:                                                              5:30 PM

                                        Concluding Services:                            Follows Yiskor Services

SERVICE LOCATION:      All High Holiday services will be held at:

                                                            GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

                                                            337 Peekskill Hollow Road, Putnam Valley, N.Y. 10579

 

DIRECTIONS:                   From Route 6, take Mill St. North to traffic light.  Turn right on

                                                     Peekskill Hollow Road, the church is approx. ˝ mile on the left.

 

CHILD CARE:                   Child care will be available at a cost of $10/Per family.  Please

                                                     reserve a place for your child by

Note: A new Yiskor Card is required to be returned each year, except those families with perpetual  Yiskor(Memorial Plaques)

                                                                                                    

 TICKET POLICY:               Members in good standing will find enclosed tickets for

                                                         all family members living at home.

                                                         Other relatives may purchase tickets at a reduced rate of $50 per ticket.  

                                                         First time guests attending High Holiday services can request complementary

                                                         tickets.   Non- members (other than first time attending ) may

                                                         purchase tickets for $100 per ticket.   For additional tickets and
