Dear RTPV Family,

I hope this message finds all of you in good health and good spirits. The fundraising committee has begun thinking about our next fundraising project. We’d like to try and raise funds and/or in-kind donations to replace the carpeting in the sanctuary and spruce up our classrooms. While a new building is still a priority, it would be wonderful to put our best face forward until a relocation takes place.

We need your help to make the money we raise go as far as possible. Do you have a friend, family member, or colleague in the carpet and flooring business? If we can get our materials donated or at a wholesale price, the funds we raise during our activities will go that much farther.

Please take a moment to think about whom you know and what they may be able to do for us. We are not picky and don’t need the latest color or texture. If you have an idea, please call or e-mail me and we can brainstorm together. I will write the request letter, make follow up calls and do all the legwork. What I need you to do is make the connection.

Stay tuned to the next Shofar and upcoming e-mail blasts for a date to attend our next FUNdraiser, with an emphasis on FUN. Phil Hurowitz has agreed to co-chair the fundraising committee and brings lots of experience and energy to the job.
