The Hoot - a poem (12/12)
But now it’s time for horns to toot
So break out all your finest cups
And raise a glass up to the Hoot
Yes the Hoot – you heard it right
So just put on your finest suit
But don’t you make those pants too tight
‘Cause you’ll be eating at the Hoot
Latkes, bagels, so much more
There may even be some fruit
You never know just what’s in store
When you attend our Temple’s Hoot
There’s games and fun and laughter too
And it doesn’t cost a lot of loot
What else is there for you to do
Then spend some time down at the Hoot
And music , oy, look who we’ve found-
Dean Friedman – he don’t play no flute
A top ten hit, world renowned
We’ve got it all down at the hoot
So call your relatives, call your granny
Call your friends, even that brute
Some call it a Hanukah Hootenany
But at RTPV, it’s just The Hoot
